Concrete is a construction material composed of cement (commonly Portland cement) as well as other cementations materials such as fly ash and slag cement, aggregate (generally a coarse aggregate such as gravel, limestone, or granite, plus a fine aggregate such as sand), water, and chemical admixtures.
The possibilities to customise concrete as a floor are countless. The final appearance of polished concrete is influenced by the natural material and colour of the stone, the size and distribution from within the concrete new and existing.
Polished concrete is desirable for those who want a stylish easy to maintain floor that can withstand wear and tear of everyday life. There are multiple solutions in turning a basic dull grey concrete surface to a hardened abrasive resistant low maintenance flooring option. Tint can be added to create a permanent colour and combined with our polishing process; your concrete floor will be transformed into an appealing surface.
Concrete Sealing: There are various impregnating sealers available on the market, with a life span from one to five years (depending on the environment) before resealing is needed. Sealing minimises the capillaries stopping fluids from entering the surface though still allowing for Moisture Vapour Transmission (MVT) to occur from within the concrete.

Cleaning Your Concrete Surface: The cleaning process is very simple; all you have to do is make sure you wipe up any spills when they occur. Cleaners containing acid should never be used for routine maintenance. Acidic cleaners, even a light solution will eventually damage the sealer.
